HumanCYC provides a reference on not only human genes, but also cover informations on proteins, metabolites or pathways. At the homepage, it states that HumanCYC prvides a "zoomable metabolic map diagram". Being user-friendly, HumanCYC has prepared a title written "Getting Started" containing instructions on how to use the website efficiently.
I typed in the protein name, "Actin" in the search box and pressed Enter. The first thing I noticed was the list of various types of actin which exist.
After clicking at the first link on the list, which is "7SK snRNA methylphosphate capping enzyme", this database gives me information on the Gene Local Context, Unification Links, Map Position, Synonyms, and Accession Number.
I think that this website would be extremely useful for anyone who's studying or doing research on human genomes as the widely important information are easily accessible with just a few clicks away on the computer.
